Palms
Everywhere in the garden, Trachycarpus fortunei palms grow, in groups or single specimen.
This palm has been cultivated in China and Japan for thousands of years, for its coarse but very strong leaf sheath fibre. They are very hardy, and can stand cold winters.
Their mediterranean charm is apparent in the groups placed along the lake shore.
